In 2003, he completed a fellowship at the UC Davis School of Medicine in California (USA) where he honed his expertise and knowledge in adult degenerative spine and spinal deformity, paediatric spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, dynamic stabilization spine surgery, and total disc replacement in spine surgery. He returns to the United States and Europe on a yearly basis to stay abreast of recent advances.
